Hi there! I'm a Scottish web developer with nine years of software development experience focusing on web development in React, Next.js, Node and TypeScript. I have worked for clients in the UK and internationally for clients based in the United States, Sweden, and Thailand.

I have developed products for both small startups, such as an AI recruitment chatbot at HR Monster, and larger teams, such as at ClickTech developing Adzooma, an award-winning platform serving 50,000+ businesses globally. Apart from my personal work such as FreshCrate, a RAG LLM chatbot, I also work on open source projects when I get the time, such as Chayn, a platform supporting survivors of gender-based violence.

I aim to be proactive and am always interested in learning new things both in tech and out of it. In software development, I adhere to the principles of simplicity, scalability and performance while in my client interactions I adhere to respect, transparency and collaboration.

Before web development, I developed video games full-time, working on titles including ones built on licensed IPs such as Disney and Marvel. I worked on award-winning games such as Longleaf Valley as part of a three-person engineering team.

I am based in the UK though I occasionally work from Pakistan if I am visiting my family back home.

Outside of tech, my current interests include weightlifting, reading books and sketching/painting.
